Challenge: The Great Chishill Windmill Trust CIO, a registered charity dedicated to saving and restoring a rare historic windmill, needed a website that could showcase their restoration work, promote seasonal open days and events, and engage the local community as supporters and volunteers.
Solution: We built a bespoke WordPress website featuring event listings, extensive photo galleries covering the windmill’s history and restoration, an online shop for merchandise, and an interactive 3D drone-mapped model of the windmill. The site is fully responsive and easy for the trust to manage and update.
Results: The website serves as the central hub for the trust, helping them promote open days running April through September, community events like craft fairs and competitions, and their Friends membership programme. It plays a key role in raising awareness and support for one of only eight open trestle post mills left in the UK.
